I fell in love with a frat boy

He has the cutest gap in his front teeth and he perpetually smells amazing. He saved a woman’s life with his bone marrow.

Haha! There are 5 different flavors of cupcakes though, and a cookie table, which is a regional tradition, the family members make the best homemade cookies like Italian wedding cookies and pizzelles. It's going to take 2 huge tables for sure.

This sounds like a delightful wedding! I really think weddings should have personality that reflects what the couple wants. When I got married several years ago (to a man I've since divorced), I think we had something more traditional than I might've chosen if I hadn't been marrying into a family that was quite Christian (even though my ex-husband was not). Still, we managed to bring some of our own geeky personalities to the occasion too.

I love this! My husband and I had an unconventional wedding - it was literally just us and a government employee in a little chapel at the courthouse. We've talked about doing a vow renewal ceremony at some point and inviting people, because some of our friends and family were a little miffed that we went ahead with it without them, but that day is still the happiest day of my life and I wouldn't change a thing about it.
